XXX die III. – correspondances, Galerie Mark Müller, Zurich

Providing glimpses of links between worlds

This exhibition, which I curated together with journalist Susanna Koeberle and product designer Jörg Boner, takes Charles Baudelaire’s poem “Correspondences” as an inspiration to make linkages visible in some way: between the material and the spiritual world, between nature and culture, between perception and the creative idea. And so now lakes become vessels, tables walk in circles, bark beetles write hidden messages, silver becomes corrugated board, and packing material can become an archaeological find, as in my objects Vestiges du jour

“Correspondances” brings artists together from very different fields and at the same time enters into a humorous dialogue with Fabian Treiber’s works in “Painting the Night Unreal,” shown in the gallery’s larger main space.
