Objet noir N°1

Open play with light’s unpredictability

In this work, I returned to earlier projects where I engaged with crystalline forms. The precisely defined bodies of black, anodized aluminum take on a life of its own as soon as light is cast through the perforated surface, generating a moiré that changes depending on perspective. Objet noir N°1, available in a limited edition of eighteen, is both a sculpture and an object of everyday use.
