"Social Design," Museum für Gestaltung Zürich

A marketplace for sensible design with visitor participation

The subjects treated at the exhibition range from "slow food" to coop living. They are presented on a kind of oversized sheet of canvas that is rolled out from the vertical to the horizontal, and rests on a solid supporting construction. Descriptions, samples, and screens with additional information explain and illustrate individual projects.

A "Paper Emergency Shelter" by Shigeru Ban is a meeting point in the middle of the hall; in separate niches, visitors can collect their impressions and formulate their own ideas.
